Description : NASA research of Earth-Moon mechanics by astrophysicist Robert Newton leads mathematicians of MSU to a breakthrough in the chronology of civilization. The Issue with Chronology crowns 30 years of meticulous research actually started as a byproduct of Russian-American competition in Moon exploration when famous NASA scientist Robert Newton discovered a very strange phenomenon in lunar mechanics. This book is also the first volume in History: Fiction or Science? series, the fundamental oeuvre that exposes the numerous inveracities of the traditional version of history. The series contains data and conclusions that aren't anything short of revolutionary. The alternatives offered to classical history are stunning to the extent of being labelled heretical by virtually every scholar of history, and daring enough to be considered preposterous at first sight, although this impression never lasts longer than it takes one to read a few pages attentively.

Description : This book describes the membership, business and procedure of the privy council during the minority of Henry VIII's son successor, Edward VI. It examines the policy-making, administrative and quasi-judicial functions of the central institution of Tudor government at a time of war, rebellion, financial instability, reform in the Church and potentially violent political change. Professor Hoak analyses the way in which, through the council - a body whose formal existence dated only from 1540 - the dukes of Somerset and Northumberland successively governed the realm in the effective absence of a king. He sheds light on the nature of Somerset's failure, Northumberland's purpose and achievements, as well as on the techniques by which he controlled both the king and council, and the politics of the Reformation in England at the moment of the Protestant's triumph, 1549-50. The book demonstrates the extent to which the Edwardian privy council confirmed and continued earlier 'revolutionary' reform in government; it establishes the uniqueness of the place of Edward's council in the history of Tudor government and of royal councils generally in the sixteenth-century Europe.

Description : A revised and greatly expanded edition of this important and long out of print reference book on Upper Canada to 1841. Similar in format to A Handbook of British Chronology, this work is a listing of all legislative councilors, and assemblymen, all officials, dates of all parliaments, and judges and court officials. The new edition includes the basic population statistics, a completely revised list of the events of the War of 1812 and new lists of the events of the Rebellions of 1837 and the Patriot Raids that followed the next year, tables of the provincial and British statutes relating to the incorporation of businesses, the officers of the major Upper Canadian corporations, a complete list of post office officials and post offices, and a list of provincial surveyors, and the major disasters.
