You Will Putt Better I Guarantee It Book Excerpt:

Did you ever wonder why your golf scores never improve much even after many years of experience? And, did you know putting contributes about 40% to your total score, making putting the single most important part of your golf game? Do you want to improve? Then, this book is a MUST read! Golfers need to understand and come to grips with the harsh realities putting places on them as well as the many factors that impact putting success, many more mental than physical; therefore, this book leaves the fundamentals of putting stroke to others. To assist golfers, or golfer "wannabes," the author utilizes his 30 years' experience in sport performance enhancement and 60 years of playing golf to provide a framework that will lead to increased putting performance IF you will follow some of book's suggestions. The book is written in a conversational style, with the intent of having the reader interact with material presented - responding to questions, agreeing or disagreeing with a certain perspective, and perhaps searching your conscience for the "why's" and "why not's." Innumerable drills and strategies are offered, both to improve the physical and mental sides of the golf game. Insights into how and what to practice, based on proven approaches, are emphasized to counter the haphazard way most golfers typically practice. Putting really is a head game. I certainly enjoyed reading your book. You have brought every act of putting to the surface. FINALLY a putting book that doesn't talk about the stroke the whole time. I truly believe the best formula for making putts is to roll the ball on the correct line at the correct speed. Of the two elements speed is the most important. The other tangibles that go with it are to read greens correctly and to have confidence in your stroke and read. You seem to have touched on each one of the topics in depth. The object of putting is to putt the ball in the hole NOT to move the putter in a certain direction or a certain way. The added humor was a nice touch. Good luck with the publishing of the book and sign me up for a finished copy. Nice job. Michael B. Krick, Head Golf Professional Carolina Trace Country Club Sanford, North Carolina

Just One SIMAIR Story Book Excerpt:

Rich Schaffer served the Lord for 20 years as a missionary pilot with the Sudan Interior Mission in Nigeria, West Africa. Harold Fuller wrote .. Great stuff, Rich. You have a very interesting writing style .. reconstructing conversation, describing vividly, building suspense. We’re enjoying the chapters as you send them. I knew you were an accomplished pilot, but had no idea of your writing skills. Glad you are now using them!” Flying with Rich at the controls was always okay. Although my heart at times pounded as the tiny Cessna faced a threatening tropical storm. I knew this matter-of fact guy of few words had the courage and professional experience to find a hole through or around the thunderheads and bring us out safely on the other side. And Rich always acknowledged that the Lord had given him the qualities that made him a top-rate pilot for Africa’s uncertain weather and questionable landing strips.” “ In this story about SIMAIR, Rich takes the reader through many an adventure that showed God’s hand to be on the Mission aircraft and its occupants. With vivid description and homey dialogue , Rich weaves an honest account how God took a little boy from a tarpaper shack in America’s Midwest and made him part of a team who brought the Gospel to the neglected interior of West Africa .. fullfilling his boyhood dream of flying. Down to earth humor, growing pains, high adventure, finding God in dry season and rainy-season tempest .. Rich holds the reader’s attention from pagecone to the story’s end.” W. Harold Fuller, Lit.D (SIM Nigeria Director for several years of the Shaffer’s ministry)

The Innovation Blind Spot Book Excerpt:

Our innovation economy is broken. But there's good news: The ideas that will solve our problems are hiding in plain sight. While big companies in the American economy have never been more successful, entrepreneurial activity is near a 30-year low. More businesses are dying than starting every day. Investors continue to dump billions of dollars into photo-sharing apps and food-delivery services, solving problems for only a wealthy sliver of the world's population, while challenges in health, food security, and education grow more serious. In The Innovation Blind Spot, entrepreneur and venture capitalist Ross Baird argues that the innovations that truly matter don't see the light of day—for reasons entirely of our own making. A handful of people in a handful of cities are deciding, behind closed doors, which entrepreneurs get a shot to succeed. And most investors are what Baird calls "two-pocket thinkers"—artificially separating their charitable work from their day job of making a profit. The resulting system creates rising income inequality, stifled entrepreneurial ambition, social distrust, and political uncertainty. Our innovation problem makes all our other problems harder to solve. In this book, Baird demonstrates how and where to find better ideas by lifting up people, places, and industries that are often overlooked. What's more, Baird ultimately outlines how to create long-term success through "one-pocket thinking"—eliminating the blind spot that separates "what we do for a living" and "what we really care about."

The Day a Team Died Book Excerpt:

Returning from a European Cup match against Red Star Belgrade, the plane carrying Manchester United's 'Busby Babes' stopped at Munich airport to refuel. On its third attempt to take-off in atrocious weather conditions the plane veered off the runway, crashed and burst into flames. 21 people died, 7 members of the legendary team among them (including Duncan Edwards), and Sir Matt Busby was rushed to hospital in critical condition. The greatest British football team of their generation was destroyed. Frank Taylor was the only journalist on the plane that night to survive and during his hospitalisation wrote this book, revising it extensively 25 years later to include all the subsequent knowledge about the crash. Two surviving members of the Manchester United players on the flight, Bobby Charlton and Bill Foulkes, would recover to play in Manchester United's European Cup victory in 1968. Fifty years afterwards Duncan Edwards is still remembered as having the potential to have been England's greatest player. This is is the definitive, firsthand account of the crash that killed eight members of one of the greatest Manchester United teams in history.

A Tiger among Us Book Excerpt:

Foreword by Chuck Hagel, former Secretary of Defense and Senator from Nebraska Adaptable. Cunning. Ferocious. Fearless. The Indochinese tiger is just one of the formidable predators roaming Vietnam's jungle. In 1966 a small band of US Special Forces soldiers--most especially Bennie Adkins--spent four grueling days facing down the "tiger" among them. While the rain and mist of an early March moved over the valley, then-Sergeant First Class Bennie Adkins and sixteen other Green Berets found themselves holed up in an undermanned and unfortified position at Camp A Shau, a small training and reconnaissance camp located right next to the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail, North Vietnam's major supply route. And with the rain came the North Vietnamese Army in force. Surrounded 10-to-1, the Green Berets endured constant mortar and rifle fire, direct assaults, treasonous allies, and volatile jungle weather. But there was one among them who battled ferociously, like a tiger, and when they finally evacuated, he carried the wounded to safety. Forty-eight years later, Command Sergeant Major Bennie Adkins's valor was recognized when he received this nation's highest military award, the Medal of Honor. Filled with the sights, smells, and sounds of a raging battle fought in the middle of a tropical forest, A Tiger among Us is a riveting tale of bravery, valor, skill, and resilience.

You will also have many other answers that the scholars couldn´t give us by now.
