Description : Daniel lived and worked at the political and administrative hub of tow successive world emprises-Babylon and Medo-Persia-holding very high positions in both. He was a man of impeccable character who became God's mouthpiece for the unveiling of a set of accurate prophecies concerning world history. Through these prophecies Daniel was privileged to witness history in advance - some made immediate sense to him, some brought fear and anxiety to his heart, while mush was to be 'sealed' till the 'time of the end'!. Now, with the help of Robert J. Wieland, we can understand Daniel's prophecies more clearly than ever before. Book jacket.

Description : Two Harvard professors explain the dangerous world we face today Democracies can die with a coup d'état - or they can die slowly. This happens most deceptively when in piecemeal fashion, with the election of an authoritarian leader, the abuse of governmental power and the complete repression of opposition. All three steps are being taken around the world - not least with the election of Donald Trump - and we must all understand how we can stop them. In How Democracies Die, Harvard professors Steven Levitsky and Daniel Ziblatt draw insightful lessons from across history - from the rule of General Augusto Pinochet in Chile to the quiet undermining of Turkey's constitutional system by President Recip Erdogan - to shine a light on regime breakdown across the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Notably they point to the dangers of an authoritarian leader faced with a major crisis. Based on years of research, they present a deep understanding of how and why democracies die; an alarming analysis of how democracy is being subverted today in the US and beyond; and a guide for maintaining and repairing a threatened democracy, for governments, political parties and individuals. History doesn't repeat itself. But we can protect our democracy by learning its lessons, before it's too late.

Description : Daniel prophesied the rise of global government in your future A number of prophets had a glimpse of the future, but God gave only one prophet a precise calendar of the end-times events that will affect the current generation. Writing more than 2,500 years ago, Daniel described a series of cataclysmic events and the signs that will precede the end times. According to prophecy expert Grant R. Jeffrey, many of the signs that Daniel pointed to are visible in our world today. Daniel’s vision reveals startling details about the identity of the coming Antichrist, his political career, his death, and his Satanic resurrection. After completing an exhaustive study of Daniel’s prophecies, Dr. Jeffrey presents a detailed description of the Antichrist’s rise as world dictator, the mark of the beast, and the political maneuvering that will set the stage for global government. In light of the Hebrew calendar and the cycle of Jewish festivals, Dr. Jeffrey uncovered precise dates for major apocalyptic events, including a timeline for the Antichrist’s rise to power, the major events of the Tribulation, and the timing of the Battle of Armageddon. God allowed Daniel to see the world we will soon live in as we approach the time for the return of the Messiah. Now learn exactly what Daniel knew.

Description : Although Daniel 2:45 states that the great statue composed of four metals and with feet of clay reveals the future, relatively few biblical scholars have understood it as an amazingly accurate timeline that does exactly that. Liberals have been unwilling to consider that the statue's fourth kingdom is Rome. Most conservatives have recognized that it is Rome, but they have gone astray by seeking a nonexistent link between that ancient empire and the modern world. The key to understanding the statue is to recognize that it presents a prophecy that was fulfilled in the first century by the Coming of Christ, which was the historical equivalent of the rock that destroys the statue. The rock's growth into the mountain that covers all of Earth foretells a process that began in the first century and includes the thousand years of Revelation 20. This process appears to have reached a historical climax in our own time. John S. Evans is a retired professor of economics and international finance who taught at the University of Alabama from 1968 until 2000 after beginning his teaching career in 1959 at the University of South Dakota. His professional accomplishments included a year in Mexico as a Fulbright Lecturer and the writing of a textbook on international financial management. Since 1996, when he went into partial retirement, his primary intellectual activity has consisted of the intensive study of the Bible, with emphasis on the Book of Daniel. In 2004, he published with Xulon Press The Four Kingdoms of Daniel: A Defense of the "Roman" Sequence with AD 70 Fulfillment. The present book expands on parts of The Four Kingdoms and offers much new material. Evans has authored over thirty articles that have been posted at planetpreterist.com and has been a frequent guest on John Anderson's "Voice of Reason."
