Description : "Bible Verses On Prayer: 99 Bible Verses About Prayer" Be reminded of how to pray, what to pray for, when to pray and what assurances we have of answered prayers. "Bible Verses On Prayer: 99 Bible Verses About Prayer" reminds us that we can talk to God in prayer. Praying in its simplest form is defined as talking to God. Undoubtedly there may be grander definitions of prayer. The common thread in all of these is that when we pray, we communicate with God. Prayer is the hotline that gives us access to God. It is like having God on speed dial. Some people may choose to kneel, others may choose to bow, some may choose to whisper and some people even yell. All of these forms of prayer are acceptable to God. "Bible Verses On Prayer: 99 Bible Verses About Prayer" reminds us that God wants our prayers. God yearns for a relationship with us. As we have conversations with to our friends, our prayers are our conversations with God. God wants our prayers. He wants us to have conversations with Him in prayers. Bible Verses on Prayer like Jeremiah 29:12, capture this. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Likewise the Bible Verse on Prayer below. Luke 18:1 He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up. "Bible Verses On Prayer: 99 Bible Verses About Prayer" reminds us of people like us who prayed. The Bible is filled with stories of lives of people who prayed at different stages of their lives. Moses prayed when He was at his wits end with the people of Israel. Rebekah prayed when she wondered about the fate of her unborn children. Solomon prayed for wisdom. Hannah prayed for a child. Abraham prayed for a city. Jesus prayed when he was about to face the cross. The Bible Verse in Genesis 20:17 reminds us Abraham prayed. Abraham prayed to God. God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his female servants, and they bore children. "Bible Verses On Prayer: 99 Bible Verses About Prayer" will help you pray. We may find ourselves in the place of prayer for different reasons. Our prayer could be a cry for help, an expression of gratitude, or simply a dialogue with God, as part of our relationship with God. We can pray for anything and anyone. Prayer has even been deemed by contemporary science to have medical and physiological benefits. "Bible Verses On Prayer: 99 Bible Verses About Prayer" will help you in your prayer journey. "Bible Verses On Prayer: 99 Bible Verses About Prayer" reminds you of the assurances you have of answered prayer. Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me, and I will answer you. Mark 11:24-25 Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. This book "Bible Verses On Prayer: 99 Bible Verses About Prayer" is a numbered list of 99 Bible verses on prayer starting from the Old Testament to the New Testament. Use these prayer verses to learn more about God and prayer, as a prayer book, for Bible study and in praying the Bible. God bless you as you pray. *The Bible Verses are from the WEB version. Some words from the version have been replaced with contemporary words. More Verses from "Bible Verses On Prayer: 99 Bible Verses About Prayer" 2 Kings 20:5 Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, The Lord, the God of David your father, says, "I have heard your prayer. Akin, and Tony Merida, this commentary series, to include 47 volumes when complete, takes a Christ-centered approach to expositing each book of the Bible. Rather than a verse-by-verse approach, the authors have crafted chapters that explain and apply key passages in their assigned Bible books. Readers will learn to see Christ in all aspects of Scripture, and they will be encouraged by the devotional nature of each exposition presented as sermons and divided into chapters that conclude with a “Reflect & Discuss” section, making this series ideal for small group study, personal devotion, and even sermon preparation. It’s not academic but rather presents an easy reading, practical and friendly commentary. The authors of Exalting Jesus in Psalms, Volume 2, Psalms 51-100 are Matt Mason, David Platt, and Jim Shaddix.

Description : Have you ever wondered how prayer works? Have you ever wished you were better at praying? Have you ever been at a loss for words to pray? This is not a book that attempts to answer all your questions on prayer. On the contrary, the author acknowledges upfront that prayer is a mystery for which there is no magic formula. There are Biblical principles that teach much about prayer, and God's spiritual spokespersons have offered insight. But God is God, and prayer is in the realm of His unfathomable ways and workings. Rather, this is a book that invites you to come alongside the author and delve into the practice of prayer. It contains reflections on varied prayer matters that are based on exploring principles about prayer and trying various ways to pray. It is the fruit of the author's entreating God to teach her to pray. Since much of this entreating occurred while walking with her son through his cancer battle and now as she grieves his passing, the author's insights are presented as one questioning pilgrim desiring to help another. The book's premise is that we do not have to understand prayer to pray. We learn to pray by praying. The more we pray, the more natural praying therefore becomes. Hence, suggestions and tools are offered to facilitate praying. Whether you are relatively experienced with prayer, brand new, or somewhere in between, you are invited to ponder these prayer matters and to implement those suggestions for "doing prayer" that appeal to you. Because, ultimately, while we may not know the intricate workings of prayer this side of Heaven, one thing we do know is... Prayer Matters!

Description : Have you heard about Gods mystery? Were you aware that when God finally revealed the truth of this mystery, its power changed the course of history? What is Gods Mystery? opens anew the door to Gods greatest plan, and explains how it continues to affect each of us today. Plus, have you ever been asked other questions about the Bible that were difficult to answer? We have. These inquiries have come from church members, our family, close friends, and even our own curiosity. As an example, how would you answer a question like, If God made everything (John 1:3) and everything was good (Genesis 1:31), then where did Satan and the demons come from? People have wrestled with questions such as, When we die do we become angels and play harps in heaven? What does the Bible tell us about hell, or the date of the end of time? How can we know Gods will for our lives? Also, what does the Bible say about personal issues such as drinking wine, going to the movies, watching television, or judging others? What is Gods design for sex and marriage in todays changing world? Did you realize Jesus actually mentions four conditions of man? These were questions that we felt deserved deeper answers than the traditional responses. Our concentrated search into Gods Word has resulted in discoveries, supported by scripture, that we believe are so important they need to be made available for anyone who honestly desires to know Gods will. We believe you will find this study very rewarding. And, more importantly, it might spark an interest in studying the Bible that will help you better know its real Author the Lord God Almighty.

Description : This book is intended to mould the young child's mind, with an understanding of God and praying, using the short biblical verses and little prayers while learning their alphabet. There is also a declaration page which you can personalize for your child and pronounce God's blessing on your little one's life. This book has been inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. To Him we give all honour, glory and praise. I am involved in the children's ministry at my local church and this book can be used as a suitable tool for very young children to learn bible verses with the alphabet as a guide. The Word of God states that we ought to hide God's Word in our hearts, so that we would not sin against Him. What is learned at a very young age will remain in the minds of children and as they grow to adults forever. Then the little prayers will get them ready to communicate with God at a tender age. This is an inspirational book that allows children to understands their worth, not from the world's perspective, but from God's. It teaches Bible verses, basic sign language, prayers, God's morals and values which most adults grew up with and would, in turn, seek to impart to their children. The prayer section is to teach or help encourage children to pray for self, loved ones, service men and women, leaders, country and other areas but most importantly giving God thanks. It also contains a declaration prayer with a picture insert page. Read to your child or children, until they can read it on their own.

This book, and those to follow, seeks to present prayer as the Bible describes it. With no pretense to personal expertise, I send forth this book, confident that God will bless His own Word.

Description : On February 20, 2014, media queen Oprah Winfrey launched a campaign on CNN against loneliness; she named her initiative, “Just Say Hello!” She also named as her campaign partners her long-time best friend, “CBS This Morning” co-Anchor Gayle King, and CNN’s chief medical correspondent and practicing neurosurgeon Dr. Sanjay Gupta to "help fight loneliness, lift spirits, and brighten days to save lives". Researchers have said loneliness can cut off a lifespan by ten years. Oprah’s initiative, if successful, could add ten years of existence to lonely lives, but Oprah is not the first celebrity to launch such altruistic enterprise: Stevie Wonder went that route in 1984 with "I Just Called to Say I Love You", and in 1985, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Quincy Jones and a host of superstars with "We Are the World". Had those earlier initiatives succeeded, Oprah’s campaign might not be necessary. But, there are also available often overlooked very precious time-tested scientifically backed biblical formulas for combating loneliness some of which are cited in this book in the hope that, perhaps, Oprah and her team may consider using their celebrity positions to help America focus on the things of GOD. For, “no eye has seen, nor ear has heard, and human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him” (1Cor. 2:9). Hz

Description : As long as we live, we will be faced with difficulties which we cannot overcome in our own strength. Most of the time, they are just the everyday circumstances. It is during these times that we desire to find the answers we search for that can only be accomplished through the encouragement and promises of the Word of God. This book is simply about what the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." Without a doubt, God's word has an answer for every human situation. Sometimes, we tend to forget because of how and what we are facing at the moment. It takes someone who has gone through difficult trials in life to encourage and pray with others in their weakest moments. It takes someone to remind them that God's promises still stand today as it was with our Ancestors. It takes someone to help propel their faith back to the place where it once was. This is what the ninety days' devotional is all about. I encourage you to continue to read each day, and before this book has ended, I guarantee you will find a situation relevant to yours. It is my hope that the scripture verses will further help you see things differently than before. I pray this book will accomplish its purpose. You will be blessed and your spirit will be renewed. In the meantime, be encouraged and remember, "God is our refuge and strength in times of trouble."
