Description : If there is a true, genuine plan coming from an all omnipotent God, the creator of all mankind, and it is specially directed to all people of His creation, and that plan is focused with the intent to reconcile and save humanity back to the Creator...here is that plan. This book explains from a Christian perspective what God’s true plan entails and what we have to do to accept this plan. It is a plan that has been around for over two thousand years, but over the ages, the complexity of this plan has been obscured and watered down in its interpretation. There comes a time when this God of ours attempts to touch us spiritually with His plan. It is the responsibility of all mankind to wake up and open up their hearts and minds to what God is trying to tell us.

Description : What does the Bible teach about gender roles? Is there a difference as seen in Scripture? Understanding the debate over biblical feminism is essential to answering the questions about the role of women in the church. In this book, Dr. Cottrell "stands squarely in the path of the evangelical feminists who want to prove that the Bible agrees with their egalitarian views" (Clark H. Pinock, Ph.D., McMaster Divinity College). Lightning Print On Demand Title.

Description : with a Postcript coauthored by Michael W. Goheen In print for two decades and translated into eight languages, Albert Wolters's classic formulation of an integrated Christian worldview has been revised and expanded to reach new readers beyond the generation that has already benefited from this clear, concise proposal for transcending the false dichotomy between sacred and secular. Wolters begins by defining the nature and scope of a worldview, distinguishing it from philosophy and theology. He then outlines a Reformed analysis of the three basic categories in human history -- creation, fall, and redemption -- arguing that while the fall reaches into every corner of the world, Christians are called to participate in Christ's redemption of all creation. This Twentieth Anniversary edition features a new concluding chapter, coauthored with Michael Goheen, that helpfully places the discussion of worldview in a broader narrative and missional context. Praise for the first edition"This is the best statement I have come across of the 'reformational' Christian worldview. It is lucidly written, includes a lot of helpful analogies and illustrations, and is throughout generous in its spirit." -- Nicholas Wolterstorff, Yale University"Translates the central insights and categories of the neo-Calvinist tradition into fresh, nontechnical language and clarifies them with a generous sprinkling of apt illustrations and images. . . . Highly recommended to all those desiring a crisp introduction to a Christian worldview in general or the neo-Calvinist tradition in particular." -- "Christian Scholar's Review"Outstanding. . . . Deserves a wide readership not only in a specifically academiccontext among teachers, preachers, and students, but also among the larger group of believers who are concerned with issues involving Christian worldview, theology, and philosophy." -- "Calvin Theological Journal

Description : Excerpt from The Story of the Ages From Creation to Redemption: Key to Historic and Prophetic Diagram of the World, and God's Plan of Salvation for Law Breakers The Story of the Ages, with the accompanying Historic and Prophetic Diagram of the World, treats of subjects that reach back before sin entered any part of the creation of God. Then follows briefly the history of the rebellion and fall of Satan in heaven; the disobedience of our first parents in Eden; and the course of sin down through the ages to the end of this world, when sin and sinners will be destroyed, the righteous redeemed, and the earth again made new. While each chapter is complete in itself, each is also closely connected with the one before it, and with the one following it, thus making an unbroken chain, which, link by link, and chap ter by chapter, tells the story of creation, the plan of salvation, and the joys of redemption. In writing this work, the author has confined his evidence to the Word of God, as found in the Bible; to history, which records the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, and to true science, which is in harmony with God and nature. Description : If I were to ask you about the history of redemption, you would most likely begin by thinking back to the cross and what was accomplished there by Christ From there, you would then move forward. However, in God's mind or from His perspective it began before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:4 says, "...even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love..." Before Genesis 1, God had the plan of redemption already formulated. This means that God planned this in eternity past. Before "in the beginning," God existed and planned our redemption. So when God was all that there was, the history of redemption began. That may be hard for us to fathom because we cannot think in terms of eternity. Unlike God, we are constrained by time. The fact remains that God planned our redemption through His Son Jesus Christ before the world was even created. It was not a second option; it was the original plan from the start. We may not understand it all, but we can gain glimpses of it throughout the revealed Word of God, which is itself a "story of redemption that spans from creation to re-creation" (i.e., Genesis 1-2 to Revelation 21-22). Some of you may already be jumping ahead of me and asking, "Why would God create the world if He knew that one day He would have to redeem it? Could He not foresee what would go wrong and prevent that from happening so that creation would remain 'good' and not need to be redeemed?" Those questions are very important. In our study of the history of redemption, these questions will only be dealt with briefly, and they will have to wait until later. There is no need to get ahead of ourselves just yet. But to satisfy the question for the time being, I will give you the main reason, which will be the only reason addressed in this particular study, that God chose to create a world that He knew would fall into sin and need to be redeemed from it. It is for His glory, and I hope as we progress in our study that you will see how that statement is definitely true. The study of the history of redemption has interested me for a long time now. I have preached on the subject as an overview and taught on it in detail. But I wanted more. I wanted to go even more in depth on this subject, and that is what I intend to do here. Before we begin, I want to explain what we will be doing. We are not going to cover every aspect of redemption in Scripture, because that would cover the whole Bible. For instance, the Book of Hosea is full of rich illustrations of redemption, but we will not cover it in this study. So this is not an all-inclusive look at redemption; it is a study of the highlights. It would take a volume much larger than this, probably multiple volumes, to truly give the history of redemption the study it deserves. We will start with the creation account. Since God's plan came to fruition before the foundation of the world, then it makes sense that we start at the creation event in our study of the history of redemption. We will end with Christ, who is the completion of God's plan for redemption. I hope you enjoy this study, and I pray that God uses it to draw you closer to Him.

Description : The doctrine of creation has often been neglected in Christian theology. Distinguished evangelical theologian Jonathan Wilson exposes what has been missing in current theological discourse and offers an original, constructive work on this doctrine. The book unites creation and redemption, showing the significance of God's work of creation for understanding the good news of redemption in Jesus Christ. Wilson develops a trinitarian account of the life of the world and sets forth how to live wisely, hopefully, peaceably, joyfully, and generously in that world. He also shows how a mature doctrine of creation can help the church think practically about contemporary issues, including creation care, sexuality, technology, food and water, and more.

Envy, misery, and destruction are found wherever money is worshiped. Why does this happen? Why has money become the way it is? And can money be moral? In Thank God for Bitcoin, we explore the ways in which the current monetary system is broken and what can be done to fix it. We explore money's creation, its corruption and its potential redemption. We look at how Bitcoin can redeem the ills of our corrupt monetary system and how the ongoing transition to sound money is a source of hope for a broken world.

Description : The redemption plan preceded creation. It is stated in Isaiah 46:10 that God declares the end from the beginning. God has declared our victory in Christ Jesus at the end of the Bible as recorded in Revelation 22:3-5. We know that this victory has been wrought by Christ crucified. In other words, God has already declared our victory in Christ Jesus right from the very outset. The record of the beginning of all things is not to be read in a linear or chronological fashion. We have to bear in mind that God has declared the end from the beginning. In other words, there are nuggets of redemption truth that can be unearthed when we read the account of beginnings as prophetic in nature. Our loving Father God would not have proceeded with creation if He did not first put in place the redemption plan. It speaks of God's omniscience. Nothing catches Him by surprise. Redemption was a forethought and not an afterthought. The redemption plan that will give us the victory in the end has been declared right from the beginning. This book was written to substantiate the notion with scriptural backing. In the process, we will get to see Jesus, our Redeemer, hidden in the very beginning of the Holy Bible.

Description : Christianity has revealed the secret that psychologists have long sought--the "inward soul," the re-created spirit, the focus of God's great redemptive work on earth. The four Gospels give us a wonderful picture of the lonely man of Galilee, the humble Messiah who ends His earthly walk on Calvary. But Paul's Epistles give us the risen triumphant One, the conqueror of death, sin, and Satan. He provides the revelation of what happened on the cross and in the tomb, and how that affects who and what we are in Christ today. Legendary Bible teacher E. W. Kenyon delves deeply into Paul's teaching to give us a living picture of the entire substitutionary work of Christ, which made possible the new creation, a new race of men and women who can stand in God's presence without a sense of guilt, condemnation, or inferiority.
