Description : A collection of intimate and honest poetry reflecting real love life situations rather than idealised and romanticised life. Autobiographical in some cases, the verses explores with passion and intensity everlasting love, lost love, unrequited and forbidden love.
Description : Each poem has a story. The poems in this book have been written through the ages from when I was sixteen to my present age of thirty. I name my book Secrets of my Heart because the poems have never been shared before to anyone except two or three people. They were my private thoughts that I never thought of even sharing. But they do no good sitting on a shelf. I hope that people reading my book can relate to some of my situations and realize that some of us share the same stories. We share the same pain, hurt, sadness, anger, and happiness. Some of us are just not able to put our feelings down in words on paper. For those of you that can relate to any of my poems, you are not alone. Somewhere out there, someone else is feeling the same way. Sometimes it’s just nice to know that you’re not the only one. And a special thank-you to each person who has purchased my book.

Can Seth be honest with her about who he really is and why he's come to Portland? And can Nancy bear another betrayal?
Description : This poetry was written while working as a Substance Abuse Counselor. My clients felt they had reached the bottom. They felt like everyone saw them as worthless. I saw them respond to anyone that would take the time to truly believe they could get well, and become productive members of society, to find love and acceptance once again. The last section was written after I retired and I began writing about my feelings, about my experiences as we traveled.
