Chapter 1 The Wright Brothers MissionWhat happens to the world of aviation if the Wright brothers are not the first to fly? Chances are very good that the French would have that honor and take over as the aviation leaders of the world. However, they would probably keep the flying to a selected few who would consider it a flight of fancy while the Germans would be producing powerful fighters and bombers thus changing how WWI ends. The 1800 Club must send back a club member with aviation knowledge and that turns out to be John Brand, a writer for an aviation magazine and ex-air force officer. He is shocked when he finds out the reason the brothers stopped trying to fly.Chapter II The Hindenburg MissionWhat happens if the Hindenburg blows up over the North Sea instead of over Lakehurst New Jersey as it really did? There would be no survivors, as all would drown in the North Sea causing their children and future ancestors not to exist. Doctors, artists, lawyers, statesmen and just ordinary family people will not have had the chance to help the world grow with their knowledge and arts. Once again John Brand is sent back to stop the bomb from ending the trip across the Atlantic Ocean thus ensuring that the airship keeps its date with history and blow up over Lakehurst New Jersey. Something else he must do is to get out of the doomed airship before it explodes and there are other elements trying to stop that from happening.

Chapter I The Titanic MissionWhen a probe sent back by the Time Watchers group sees that the iceberg which the Titanic hit, was spotted later than it actually was, the group knew that the loss of life would be more horrific than it actually was. Knowing that someone had to go back and alert the lookouts sooner, it became apparent that the time traveler must be a woman to increase her chances of surviving by getting a seat in a lifeboat. Debby Fisher, an expert SCUBA diver, is asked to take on this mission. However, things go wrong fast and she must adapt in order to survive along with a passenger who had survived the original sinking.Chapter II The Gold Rush MissionCalifornia was a small port with a small population and nothing on the horizon until gold was discovered there. However, a time probe sent back to record that moment saw that the gold nugget was overlooked and the gold rush never took place. This kept the huge flow of migrants from China, Ireland and all of the other countries from entering California, keeping it a third rate state rather than the great state she became with the gold rush. Whoever the 1800 club sends back to that time period will have to face the many hardships of traveling across the early country, so they elect to send back a direct descendant of an American Indian. The prejudice against anyone not of their color does not make it easy for the time traveler to make sure the gold is discovered as history said it was. Along the way he befriends a few future champions of the law.

Chapter I The Ulysses S. Grant MissionWhat would happen if the Confederate Forces captured General Ulysses S. Grant? First off, he was the best general the Union Forces had and that could open the way for the North to lose the war. Secondly, he would never have become President of the United States of America, as he would not have been the hero he was. And with the Confederacy winning the war, Great Britain might have entered the war on their side. This would have split America up forever ensuring that neither would become a super power and after awhile Japan would be the real power in the Pacific. The club sends Robert Andrews, a world-class balloonist and hang glider to prevent this from happening. After a long train and boat ride with Union Forces he finally gets to the General when things quickly go wrong. With the help of Angie Verdi, a pretty seamstress and volunteer nurse, Robert chooses to use technology from our time to complete the mission. Chapter II The Civil War Spirit MissionWhy would a Union soldier's spirit linger around the battlefield for a few hundred years? This question was answered by a special mission back to the time of the Civil War by one of the Time Watchers group, Fred Wiatre. As a club member he dresses like his ancestor did, a Captain in the Union Army and easily enters the camp where Trooper Ponds, the future ghost, is alive and well. His mission: To find the reason that Trooper Ponds stays around after he's killed.

Rose Wallace thought her time-travelling adventures were over. Jane Austen is about to prove her wrong. After becoming trapped in present-day Bath due to a mishap with her time-travelling charm, Jane Austen is safe and sound back in the 1800s thanks to Rose’s help. Now, Rose is ready to focus on her fledgling romance with dreamy Dr Aiden Trevellyan. But when Jane reappears in the present, it looks like Rose and Aiden have no choice but to follow her back to 1813... Staying in the Austen household, Rose and Aiden are introduced to a number of interesting figures from the past, including Jane’s eccentric – and surprisingly modern – neighbour. Suddenly Rose’s life is in need of a re-write as she discovers some unexpected ties to Jane Austen's world and her past. The sequel to The Particular Charm of Miss Jane Austen is perfect for fans of Victoria Connelly's Austen Addicts series and The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Joy Fowler. Praise for The Unexpected Past of Miss Jane Austen: "The mix of historical fiction, romance and time travel works perfectly and this novel is entertaining and unputdownable." 5* Reader review "It felt as if I had been let into the home of Jane Austen herself and was allowed glimpses of how her life would have been lived. A fabulous and well-written read." 5* Reader review "This book was as entertaining and funny as the first book ... It was full of historical tidbits about the properties surrounding Jane’s home in Chawton village. It made me want to pay it a visit!" 5* Reader review "This was even better than the previous book. It was written so well and the pace of the story was perfect. A must read book." 5* Reader review "I absolutely adored this book. Rose’s budding romance with Aiden kept me smiling while her emerging past kept me crying. Read it if you like Jane Austen, if you like to laugh and cry with the characters." 5* Reader review "The Unexpected Past of Miss Jane Austen is a perfect sequel to book one, the characters develop and relationships are tested. Rose is a wonderfully inviting character and the book exudes warmth, surprise and toil in spades." 5* Reader review “I really loved reading this, as much as the first in the series. The characters are well developed, the plot is interesting and the minor cliffhanger makes me hope for a third book in this series. The book is also hilarious at times and I did laugh out loud.” 5* Reader review
