Description : Visions Of Heaven And Hell is a message of meditation based on the Bible and written by John Bunyan (November 30, 1628 – August 31, 1688) was an English writer and Puritan preacher best remembered as the author of the Christian allegory The Pilgrim's Progress. In addition to The Pilgrim's Progress, Bunyan wrote nearly sixty titles, many of them expanded sermons. Bunyan came from the village of Elstow, near Bedford. He had some schooling and at the age of sixteen joined the Parliamentary Army during the first stage of the English Civil War. After three years in the army he returned to Elstow and took up the trade of tinker, which he had learned from his father. He became interested in religion after his marriage, attending first the parish church and then joining the Bedford Meeting, a nonconformist group in Bedford, and becoming a preacher. After the restoration of the monarch, when the freedom of nonconformists was curtailed, Bunyan was arrested and spent the next twelve years in jail as he refused to give up preaching. During this time he wrote a spiritual autobiography, Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners, and began work on his most famous book, The Pilgrim's Progress, which was not published until some years after his release. Bunyan's later years, in spite of another shorter term of imprisonment, were spent in relative comfort as a popular author and preacher, and pastor of the Bedford Meeting. He died aged 59 after falling ill on a journey to London and is buried in Bunhill Fields. The Pilgrim's Progress became one of the most published books in the English language; 1,300 editions having been printed by 1938, 250 years after the author's death. He is remembered in the Church of England with a Lesser Festival on 30 August, and on the liturgical calendar of the United States Episcopal Church on 29 August. Some other churches of the Anglican Communion, such as the Anglican Church of Australia, honour him on the day of his death (31 August).

She also saw visions of paradise, the abode of righteous souls in Christ. "Visions Of Heaven" is a fresh, edited version of her famous book. Through her visions, we are given a glimpse of heavenly things. We learn about our loved ones who have passed into paradise, the beautiful mansions, the love of Jesus for children, the rivers, the lakes, and the harmony there. Most of all, we learn that the focus of heaven is Jesus, the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. If you know someone who has lost a loved one, this book is a "must" read.

Description : The Bakers started Adullam Rescue Mission for street children in Yunnan Province, China. The children in the home, mostly boys aged from six to eighteen, had a revival during which they had visions of heaven, Paradise, angels, and even hell. The children also had visions of the Antichrist, the Rapture, Resurrection, and Day of Judgment. Baker worked for years with little fruit and he almost gave up, until the Holy Spirit came with power, but he never put the spiritual above the Word and searched the Scriptures to make sure what was happening agreed with the Bible. This is reflected in his books as he includes Scripture references in most chapters.

Description : The Lord said to me, ''I have decided to show you the visions of Heaven for the sake of revealing same to my people, who are so drawn into the world. They think the world, love the world, desire the world, and they know little or nothing of my kingdom or my city, which is the city of cities glory. There is no city in the whole earth combined that can be compared with the least part of my city. I want you to know that heaven is my dwelling place. It is a place and not just a figmentation of men`s mind' 'the heaven is the holy city of God that is bigger than the whole earth combined. The new capital city is the New Jerusalem that is still being built for habitations of 1] The glorious God who shall be the center of its attraction. 2] The children of God of all generations, 3] The angels and all heavenly beings will dwell there''. This book is written to bless God's people. The unseen realm which is God's realm is very real. Many people who have been privileged to peep into these realms confirms over and over that just as the Earth is real, so also the realm we cannot see or feel is very real. God uses the gift of the prophetic to reveal this realm to his own anointed ones. The Lord called me and said, ''I want you to document those things I continue to show you so you can create the awereness of my abode and my coming kingdom''..That is the motivation behind this book. You will discover it an unusual book. I also try to put some pictorial presentation in some of the report. So this book PROPHETIC VISION OF HEAVEN written is to create awareness among God people and to draw many away from extreme worldly attraction to heavenly things. . When you go through a book as this you will know that truelly God is real and his abode is real. Also he is coming soon to take his own to himself. Please read with an open mind and heart and let the Holy Spirit give you understanding of what is revealed in this book, --- Prophetic Visions of Heaven. Prophetess Victoria Adesipe.

Description : Dante Alighieri (1265-1321) is one of the greatest European writers, whose untrammelled imaginative capacity was matched by a huge base in embracing the science of his era. His texts also paint compelling visual images. In Visions of Heaven, renowned scholar Martin Kemp investigates Dante's supreme vision of divine light and its implications for the visual artists who were the inheritors of Dante's vision. The whole book may be regarded as a new Paragone (comparison), the debate that began in the Renaissance about which of the arts is superior. Dante's ravishing accounts of divine light set painters the severest challenge, which took them centuries to meet. A major theme running through Dante's Divine Comedy, particularly in its third book, the Paradiso, centres on Dante's acts of seeing (conducted according to optical rules with respect to the kind of visual experience that can be accomplished on earth) and the overwhelming of Dante's earthly senses by heavenly light, which does not obey his rules of earthly optics. The repeated blinding of Dante by excessive light sets the tone for artists' portrayal of unseeable brightness.

Description : Wonders of Life Beyond the Grave H. A. Baker’s first book, Visions Beyond the Veil, vividly depicted the heavenly revelations that the Chinese boys at Baker’s orphanage received, as well as the miracles that followed. These experiences transformed Baker’s life and mission work, and he felt led to gather the best sources on visions and revelations of heaven that had come to his attention. The result, Heaven and the Angels, is a narrative of heavenly life based on personal accounts—drawn from books, articles, letters, tracts, and interviews—of those who described seeing heaven after having received visions or been raised from the dead. These accounts provide revelation on such areas as… The New Jerusalem and heavenly mansions The ever-present light and life of Jesus The delights and service of heaven’s inhabitants Our future perfection in body, soul, and spirit The duties of angels, in heaven and on earth How believers can participate with heaven today Since the place to which we ultimately journey should be of great concern and interest to us, we must find out all we can about the blessed Land of Promise. Yet heaven is more than something to be experienced after we die. As Baker affirms in this book, the miraculous power of God and the ministry of angels are available to every believer today.
