Description : This work is amongst the finest Summary of Catholic Apologetics ever to be put in between two covers. With over 220 questions, what distinguishes it most from its companions is its striking reliance on the Scriptures primarily to derive facts and principles, using the literal and spiritual interpretation of the Scriptures, to defend Catholic Doctrines against the combatants of Our Faith. Starting with debates on the Scriptures and the Catholic Church, it gallantly extends to touchy topics such as the Authority of the Catholic Church, Apostolic Succession, Papal Primacy, Papal Infallibility and the Power of Excommunication! Without fearing or sparing neither anyone nor anything, it magnificently proceeded to defend the Seven Bastions of the Church - the Seven Sacraments in the sense the Church has understood them for well over 2000 years in contrary to the manner the modern church wants them to be understood today! As you should have expected, not the Defense of Marian Doctrines was left out as well as some Practices and Devotions of the Catholic Church received from Apostolic Succession, such as Lent, Sign of the Cross, Abstinence from meat, Use of Holy water, Holy Images and others! To wrap up the work, some errors of Protestantism as well as Martin Luther, the father of Protestants were exposed! Word for word, the key doctrine of Protestantism, salvation by faith alone, was crushed and annihilated using nothing but facts and principles derived from the Scriptures! In one word - this is a work for all Christians of goodwill who want to stand at the Right Hand of the Judge on the Inevitable Terrible Day of Final Judgement! If you do not wish to be saved, we strongly recommend that you do not read nor hear this work! Chances are 100% that you will either experience greater sorrow unto Salvation if you are humble or greater hatred of Truth unto damnation if you are arrogant! If after reading or hearing this work, you choose to remain an enemy to GOD and to His One and Only Church He Instituted on St. Peter - The True Catholic Church, it is not me that has designated your rewards for this rebellion but CHRIST The Son of GOD - "And that servant who knew the Will of his Lord and prepared not himself, and did not according to His Will, shall be beaten with many stripes!" - St. Luke 12:47.

Description : IF all were true that is alleged against the Catholic Church in her treatment of Holy Scripture, then the proper title of these papers should be ‘How we got’, but ‘How we have not got the Bible’. The common and received opinion about the matter among non-Catholics in Britain, for the most part, has been that Rome hates the Bible-that she has done all she could to destroy it—that in all countries where she has held sway she has kept the Bible from the hands of the people—has taken it and burned it whenever she found anyone reading it. Or if she cannot altogether prevent its publication or its perusal, at least she renders it as nearly useless as possible by sealing it up in a dead language which the majority of people can neither read nor understand. And all this she does, (so we are told), because she knows that her doctrines are absolutely opposed to and contradicted by the letter of God’s written Word—she holds and propagates dogmas and traditions which could not stand one moment’s examination if exposed to the searching light of Holy Scripture. Description : Hello Hello, my name is Bill Rogers, I am not a preacher or minister, collage Professor, or never even went to collage. I wanted to find some answers about the gentile; I could not find a book with all of the answers from that question. “Where did the gentile come from” Oh, one more thing you need to know, I barley passed English, if it was not for my children and the computer this book would never have been written. My youngest daughter has given so much time helping me; sometimes I think she should be the author instead of me. It has taken me a little over 8 years to write this book but if I can you will be suppressed at the things we have read and not really understand because we never really looked at it. Like the chicken and the egg, there is no telling how many times we have read this and still I remember hearing this question all of my life and it has been in the Bible. As we go ahead it will become clear how much is in the Bible that is missed. One thing is who died in the flood, it is in the Bible, and we just have to search for it. What happened on the Day of Pentecost? “Probably the second most important event after Jesus dieing on the Cross and Rising in 3 days. If Judas had repented to God he would have been forgiven and would have gone to Heaven, it is in the Bible. Some people have told me the children of God resent being called a Jew; if this offends anyone I apologize for it now, It is not my intention to offend “The Children of God” There are 2 types of people on this earth and the other is the gentile, which comes from the word pagan which means farmer, pag means stake or pole in the ground and on means a person is tied to it. It was not until the 13 century when it became a secular name. The Old Testament was written for and about the Israelites while the New Testament was written for both people. In the Old Testament the Gentile was a prop to tell the story with, while in the New Testament the Gentile was a main part of the book. In the 8th grade we studied about the Stone Age, and going back to the time of the Stone Age was 5.5 million years BC. Adam and Eve were created 4004 years BC. This is one clue of the Gentile. When I was a little boy a Pastor by the name of Brother Dixon told me when studying a subject in the Bible when I was finished it would fit like an expensive glove but if it had an extra finger or thumb I would need to go back and start over again because the Bible was correct it was just humans that made the mistakes in their search. It is very disappointing to spend a 100 hours on a subject only to find it has an extra finger or not enough fingers, oh well back to the beginning again. There are places many ministers are going to disagree with me but I ask them to read the Bible word for word and not put there on words in it or try to twist the scripture to suit themselves. After starting this book and listening to some ministers preach it is plan to see they never read the next paragraph, am I picking on the ministers, no but if the congregation will read this book and read the Bible the preachers will be better prepared to deliver their sermon. Sorry to say but there are some preachers that preach what sounds good to the ears but will send a person to Hell. Like my Dad used to say “KISS” keep it simple, stupid.

Description : Africa and the Bible is a collection of essays about the African influence on and presence in the Old Testament, written over Gene Rice's more than fifty years of scholarly service at Howard University School of Divinity. They focus on characters with African heritage such as Ebed-melech and Jehudi in Jeremiah, and the prophet Zephaniah himself, as well as dealing with texts that have been misinterpreted to the detriment of African-Americans such as the story of the curse of Canaan, in which Ham and all his dark-skinned descendants are the ones viewed as cursed. One article provides evidence that the original worshippers of YHWH may have been from the land of Kush! One of Rice's earliest articles deals with the story of Joseph and relates it to Jim Crow; Rice finds in the story a model for racial reconciliation that is still relevant today. With a foreword by his colleague of many years, Cain Hope Felder, Professor of New Testament at Howard University School of Divinity, now retired, and a preface by Jonathan Rice, Gene Rice's son, the book is a treasure-trove of carefully researched, thought-provoking articles, and a perfect supplement to be used alongside a Hebrew Bible textbook.

Description : Why does the Christian walk often feel like an ongoing struggle and why does God’s creation include imperfection, let alone forces that are intent on thwarting God’s creative work? In seeking a response to these questions, this book argues that the biblical accounts describe creation in terms of a progressive transformation process whereby the initially incomplete created order will reach perfection only in the fulfillment of new creation. The following discussion then outlines a comprehensive framework for the biblical theology of humanity’s struggles, centered on three key themes: corporeal temptation, deficient social structures, and the much-debated notion of spiritual warfare. The book presents an overarching canonical narrative that threads together a series of diverse biblical topics, from Job's temptation to the Atonement. The final part surveys biblical teaching on how human conduct can be aligned with God’s creative purpose, and discusses three “assignments” from Jesus to believers: to celebrate the Eucharist, to pray the Lord’s Prayer, and to fulfill the Great Commission.
